Acceptable Use Policy for News Service

Your privacy is very important to us. We do not log what you read, nor do we sell your account information to third parties.

Our users must respect the rules of our policy. If you don't respect the following rules, your account will be closed.

• Netiquette
  You must follow the common rules of Usenet in the respect of the Netiquette.If you do not know what is this, you can find useful informations here

• Commercial use of server
  Accounts are for individual use. Any commerical use, including advertising, is strictly prohibited.

• Adults only
  Access in Adult Binary/sex related groups is available only to adults who are at least 18 years old

• No automated, bulk upload/download utilities
  Our Usenet account services are designed and priced for individual use and NOT for commercial level archiving

• Binaries and HTML files
  You cannot send binaries files and html messages in not binary and html groups allowed: they will be filtered by server automatically

• Message Size
  The size limit of messages sent is fixed to 125KB in text groups and 1MB in binary groups. The messages with greater size will be filtered by server automatically

• Control Messages
  You can not send control messages, except for your control-cancel messages and supersedes

• Crossposting limits
  One message cannot exceed the limits of 10 groups crossposting and a multiposting of 5

• No reselling or sharing of access
  Allowing others to obtain access to the Usenet news system through your account is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing your account details, running a proxy server, or running a web based interface to the Usenet news system

• Address of the field ''From''
  You cannot use the mail address of another user without his permission. In this case, your account will be closed

• Liability
  IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR INTERRUPTED COMMUNICATIONS, LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTIES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

• Warranty
  WE PROVIDE YOUR ACCOUNT "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure service, and we are not liable if you are unable to access your Account.

• Responsibility
  You are solely responsible for your content, and we act as a passive conduit for your online distribution and publication of your information. However, we reserve the right to remove content from our servers if we believe it may create liability for us.

• Privacy Policy
  Our policy is that no user information will be given to third party without a court order. Although privacy issues are very important to us, given the current regulatory and technical environment you should not have an expectation of privacy in your Account or any files transmitted through it.

You represent and warrant that any content you distribute through your Account

• does not infringe on any third party copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy
  
• does not violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation
  
• is not defamatory, trade libelous or unlawfully threatening
  
• is not obscene
  
• does not violate any laws regarding unfair competition, antidiscrimination or false advertising
  
• is not obscene
  
• does not contain viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other similar harmful or deleterious programming routines. You may not distribute "spam" through your Account, nor may you take any other action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
