The newsserver requires the authentication. In your newsreader you must set up news.x-privat.org or newsgate.x-privat.org or extreme.x-privat.org for the payment service like a newsserver and insert your userID and password assigned at the moment of the registration .
9. How I must set up my mail client?
You must insert the following data in your email-client:
Server POP3: pop.x-privat.org
Server SMTP: mail.x-privat.org
Server IMAP: imap.x-privat.org
For the authentication to SMTP, you must insert the UserID and your password. Remember that userId must include the name of the domain (@x-privat.org or @x-planet.org)
10. I am registered to the service but i fail to use it, i can signal technical problems ?

The FREENEWS service can support 4 IP connections for single user and a total of 1000 users connected at the same time. The limits of download is fixed in 10 Mb/day

The problem could be a bottlenecks between the net of your ISP and ours, or an excessive overloaded on the same server

No difference, the domain n X-Planet.Org is been born before X-Privat.Org

Yes, you can. For using the X-Privat.Org services with SSL it is necessary to have a newsreader that supports this protocol. Otherwise you can use a tunnel SSL, for example STUNNEL ( http://www.stunnel.org ).
26. I have forgotten my password, how I can find again it?
For the registrations to service NEWS you can use the LostPass . The mail with the password will be sent to the mail address used during the registration in order to prevent abuses of service. If the mail address of the registration is not reachable you must register again with a new account
For the password of the mail service you must send a FAX to the number +39-0331-246253 with a copy of your identity document
27. Is it anonymous the NNTP service?
Yes, the NNTP service is anonymous but the connections are logged and all attempts at fraud will be prosecuted.
